Terms & Conditions

By ordering from Imo's Bakery LLC you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are subject to change.

Custom Cakes and Event ordering, procedure, and guidelines

  •  Custom cakes and desserts/treats (qty. of 5 dozen or more) will need to be placed at least 2 weeks/14 days before the event date to ensure availability. A 50% retainer fee is required to secure your order at least 14 days before the event date. The remaining funds are due 7 days before your event. Dates are booked with Imo's Bakery when the retainer fee is received. We recommend paying it sooner than later. If someone pays before you do, their order will be prioritized first. 

  • If an event is canceled or reschedule before 14 days of the event, payments will be refunded. If it is cancel or rescheduled after this time period, there will be absolutely No Refund,  and will lose your retainer fee! We have already purchased items for your order that cannot be returned.

  • If an invoice payment is missed, we have the right to cancel the order. You will lose your retainer fee! We will contact you before making this decision to work out when a payment can be made. If an extended date is agreed upon, the final payment must be made by 5 pm of the new date. If there's no payment by the extended date, then the order will be canceled without notice. Again, you will lose your retainer fee. We understand that life is hectic when planning for a special occasion however, accountability with our clients is needed for smooth operations. 

  •  When details are complete, you will be provided with a contract and/or invoice. The documents will include discussed details. Changes can be made up to 14 days before your event. It is imperative to sign and return the contract/invoice by the due date. If you need to place an order within 14 days of an event, there will be a Rush Fee applied if the order is accepted.​

  •  Notices of cancelation and rescheduling are required in writing (via text or email)


Desserts ordering, procedure, and guidelines

  •  Please place small orders at least 7 days before the fulfillment date. Full payments must be made to secure your order. 

  • Dessert orders placed after 7 days will be charged a Rush Fee if the order is accepted.

  • If you wish to cancel, please do so 4 days before the event by 12 pm. No refunds will be granted afterward. 

  •  Notices of cancelation and rescheduling are required in writing (via text or email)

 Any dessert order that amounts to 5 dozen or more is considered a large event order. Please review the "Custom Cakes and Event ordering" guidelines above.

Delivery conditions

  • Delivery fees are determined by distance. If no one will be available to receive your order, please let us know in advance to reschedule. Upon arrival, we will wait 15 minutes for someone to receive your order. After 15 minutes and multiple attempts of no response, we will depart with your items. You will then be responsible for picking up the order by a rescheduled date/time determined by availability. If you are not able to pick up your order, and need to reschedule delivery service, a new invoice will be issued to pay for new delivery fees. 

  • If there is no attempt to collect your order by the end of business day, we will assume that you are abandoning the order. We will dispose of the items, and no refund will be provided. 

  • Orders will not be remade for delayed delivery. 

Pickup Conditions

  •  A public location will be arranged for pick up. Please pick up your order as scheduled. Upon arrival, we will wait 15 minutes for someone to receive your order. After 15 minutes and multiple attempts of no response, we will depart with your order. You will then be responsible for picking up the items by the date/time rescheduled determined by availability.

  • We understand that life happens. If you're running behind, please contact us as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you by the end of business day, we will assume that your order has been abandoned. We will dispose of the items and no refund will be provided. 

  • Orders will not be remade for late pickups. 

Cake cutting services

Imo's Bakery LLC is happy to be a part of your event. For cake cutting services we will come to an agreement about a timeline for your event. Imo's Bakery will set up, and stay at your event until it's time to cut the cake. If the event is running behind other arrangements will have to be made. We recommend factoring this in prior to booking this service.​

Rental Equipment

To make your event as seamless as possible, Imo's Bakery LLC offers a small selection of dessert displays and cake stands.

Rental options available:

Option 1

  • Imo's Bakery will arrive early to your event and set up. After the event, you will be responsible for cleaning and collecting all rented items.

  • A box will be provided with an affixed pre-paid shipping label to return the equipment. All boxes must be returned by using USPS.  You have up to three days after your event to ship out the equipment. (excluding Sunday) 

  • If rental equipment is returned late we will charge $15 per day for up to three days. After three days we will assume that the equipment will not be returned, and we will charge the full cost amount of equipment with the secured card on file ( or whichever amount is greater).

Option 2

  • Imo's Bakery will arrive early to your event and set up. We will collect our equipment from your event at an agreed-upon time. 

  • You will be responsible for removing leftover desserts BEFORE the time of collection. If desserts are not removed we will dispose of them while collecting our equipment. 

  • A service fee is applied to this option that will cover a secondary delivery fee, time to break down the dessert table, and collect all items. All fees are discussed and invoiced prior to booking this service. 

If there are missing items and/or damages to the equipment that did not preexist when leased, we have the right to charge up to the full cost of the rented equipment with the secured card on file.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of our products we do not accept returns or exchanges.

A full refund will be granted if Imo's Bakery LLC is not able to provide product or services that was agreed upon (due to reasons on our end). We will also refund funds if an event or custom cake order is canceled by the customer within the proper time frame that's listed above.


We will not provide a refund for any other reason. We are not responsible for acts of God, weather, mishandling of items from outside of our staff, or lost/damaged goods by mail carriers.​



By purchasing our product, you agree to notify us of any known food allergies that you or anyone attending your event may have. You agree that if anyone (you, guests, staff, or anything they share food with outside of the event) consumes our product, we are not held responsible for their/its allergic reaction.  You agree that you will be held responsible for any and all food allergies, and you cannot take any legal or physical actions against/to/towards Imo's Bakery LLC.

If you have any dietary needs or allergies please let us know. We take this very seriously and like to provide accommodations when possible. We cater to non-dairy, nut allergy, and vegan, for most of our deserts. ​We can not guarantee 100% free from all allergies, due to the nature of our production cross-contamination could occur.  


We have the right to refuse service for any reason.
